Sky is Dreaming, Pennsylvania. Concertina Book, 2.5 inches square, 10 individual images, 2023.

I traveled often in Pennsylvania on the PA Turnpike and around small towns. Using the printed digital photographs, I coated cyanotype chemistry over the landscapes.

I placed small flowers, tree branches and other flora on the coated images, and exposed to sunlight.

The resulting images are disruptions of the actual landscapes, where the tiny flowers become large configurations in the dark sky to become a record of an imaginary, actively dreaming sky.

These are new constellations and star configurations, embedding nature on Earth into the sky, enabling new stories and journeys into deep space.
